Working together to keep everyone safe.

Hello Everyone,

We hope this finds you safe and well.

There have been a number of positive Covid cases amongst members at the club over the last week. We send those affected our best wishes and we are staying in regular contact to check how they are.

As a club, we should respond in a way that continues to do our best to keep the whole community safe. It is a difficult balance as restrictions are lifting, however if we can continue to provide for our members in a safe way, then we feel we are responding appropriately.

The following steps will be taken immediately. Please ensure that you support us in the joint responsibility to keep everyone as safe as we can. We would like to think we could all consider our most vulnerable members of our community when considering our own approach to the below:
- Changing rooms will not being in use at any ground until further notice (please don’t use them at away grounds). It is worth noting that the impact of a player using the changing rooms, and then a positive test materialising, is that (in line with current Surrey Guidance) all players cannot play for 10 days.
- We are asking all members of the club community to complete lateral flow tests twice a week. We ask that these are completed on Friday nights and another day in the week. It would be helpful if the second was the night before any other games you are due to play.
- The Bar will be continuing with a largely outdoor only service.
- Please continue to report any positive cases to secretary@oxtedandlimpsfieldcc.co.uk

Best wishes
The OLCC Committee
